Since Skate-Aid came together in Partnership with Uganda Skateboard Union in 2010, Uganda/ East Africa to started developing Skateboarding Scene, through Skate-Aid to Kick starts and support Constructing Public Skate Parks in the Neighboring Countries of Uganda.

Skate-Aid was so surprised to hear roamers about the three Breve teenagers’ boys who are trying to make Miracles & change the youth in Kitintale Communities to divert those youth away from the bad criminal activities in areas of Kitintale Zone 12 Nakawa Division Kampala District. And those were Mubiru Jackson from Uganda, Sheal Swart from South Africa and Brian Lye from Canada Vancouver.

Skate-Aid has been supporting the U.S.U each & everything, not only Constructing Skate Parks, also Skateboard equipment Accessories & so many other items to support the Union! Examples of the Equipment Accessories like; Skateboards, Solar Lights, Bearings, Helmets, Wheels Etc. Recently, they completed the extension on our Skate Park & they installed Solar light around the Uganda Skateboard Union Skate Park, and kids they skate at night and during day hours!

The Uganda Skateboard union, Hosted its first kind of African Street Festival at their head Quarter Kitintale where the event took place! A lot of people participated and many of them came from different Countries all over the world!  All streets heading to the Skate park, were painted with Graffiti Designs and the all Community looks nice and Colorful. A lot of support came from different projects like; AFRI-CAN Street Art Festival, VIVA CON AGUA Kampala, Sparrow Uganda, +256 Monks, Skate-Aid Uganda and Uganda Skateboard Union.

The Buganda Kingdom Tv,  Appreciated for the good work Uganda Skateboard Union did to the youth of Kampala in Kitintale Slam areas and the Neighborhood of that areas in Kampala. Uganda Skateboard Union appreciates a lot the Buganda Tv to give a chance and the Union to welcomes it in the Slams of Kitintale Kampala District.This foundation was being helped by well wishers to build it upto this stage! people like Brianly,Yann Gross, Nik and many people whom am not been mentioned, participated in the construction of this foundation to this stage!The money we got from the Jamaican Hip Pop Star known as POP CAN in the song known as Should Have Been Me, we had on the foundation inorder to make the this park wide and to eliminates on the Accidents which was the problem on the park to become small to the skaters of Kitintale!Skate-Aid entered the and kick start also the foundation after seeing too much accidents on the kitintale skate Park! and one of the the younger up coming skater known as Wara Don Robson was a victim of the accidents and he got a hip fructure! Right now, is improving and soon to come back in the system!SkateAid sent a volunteer nown as Antonia from Germany and she worked hard together with the Kids in Ugandan project (USU)The construction went on well by the senior engineer Godfrey Seperenza and the park was screed properly as you can see it  Since Skate-Aid came together in Partnership with Uganda Skateboard Union in 2010, Uganda/ East Africa to started developing Skateboarding Scene, through Skate-Aid to Kick starts and support Constructing Public Skate Parks in the Neighboring Countries of UgandaSmootherening of the park went on well and it look so murder to skate on it! SWANGZ Avenue managements appriciated the Managements of the Uganda Skateboard Union to hosts them and the sametime to show them a new kind of entertainments at Kitintale Skate park community!AFRI–CANS street art festival 2018 was so murder and all the streets at Kitintale Community was painted as you can see! The Uganda Skateboard Union hosted again the third Auditions of Afri-Cans Street Art Festival 2019.The Official partners like USU, Skate-Aid, International Collaboration Society( ICS ), Viva Con Agua Kampala, and Banakibuga Street Mind! This project supports Africans event to happen, still are ready to keep support Afri-Cans events!

Viva Con Agua Kampala made it to Uganda Skateboard Union Toilets! The USU toilet had been down since almost one year without the toilet at the Union office! This Germany NGO Viva Con Agua supported the Uganda Skateboard Union / the Community at large to use that toilet, which is being constructed with the wasted Bottle plastic at Kitintale Skate Park. Ghetto Research Lab (GRL) This project is located from Kamwokya Community. GRL is the Company Contractors of the Toilet! Made it successful to the Union plus the Community too!!

USU invited Skaters from Ghana! Ghanaian Skaters like Sandy Gnarly Smalls where so happy to meet Skaters of Uganda Skateboard Union to exchange ideas and techniques of the Skateboarding in East Africa and West Africa!

This time, it was special invitation for the two projects ( Union X SkateAid ) in order to see the two partners  can promote art and culture in Skateboarding in East Africa & other parts of Africa.  

After Jackson’s in visitation from Europe, he went straight away connects to Southern Africa down towards Namibia.  The Capital City Windhoek. Skate Aid Namibia is a project which helps special needs like Sign language, Deaf & Albinos kids in schools of Namibia!

Skate Aid Uganda & International Collaboration Society E.v, are the two officials Germany projects partners of the Uganda Skateboard Union, Working together with other local Sponsors like Afri-Cans Street Art Festival, and sponsors like Viva Con Agua Kampala, Banakibuga Street Mind, Red bull-Uganda.

The U.S.U project, together with our partnership, decided to pass a massage to the people of Uganda. Awareness in Kampala & other parts (Kitintale Community) by painting walls with Graffiti indicating prevention of epidemic out break!

 Corona Virus disorganized everything in the all world! In Uganda, the first quarantine took place for 30 days and people where not supposed to work, walking, Driving cars, to keep inside the house & Curfew was in action, all activates were prohibited in Uganda! Our government provided food to the people of Uganda in order to stay away from hunger! Than you the government of Uganda!

The COVID 19 pandemic sabotaged people’s plans! In Uganda including our project “The Uganda Skateboard Union”. We post-ponded our programs of extension Construction which was likely to start in the first week of March to June2020   

 In January 2021, The Uganda Skateboard Union together with SkateAid to widen Kitintale Skate Park extension for enough space for kids to Skate! This time, the extension is going to be in form of a bowl. It’s going to be the first bowl in Uganda. Skate-aid empowered this project together with the Uganda Skateboard Union! Epidemic virus was the challenges, which made our plans of extension exercise to delay, Specialized Engineers from Germany, Spain and others, where cancel measures to enter Uganda for that epidemic diseases disturbs the world!

The management of the Uganda Skateboard Union appreciates a lot to Skate Aid International for being a grateful partnership to the Union!         

On March 10^th /2021, Skate-Aid programs of constructing a skull bowl started by the specialist from different Countries, Gabriel Santos (Skate-Aid Coordinator Africa) FROM Spain, Kyryl “KIKI “Baranov Skate-Aid volunteer from Russia and Hurney Boardstein from Germany. Those special engineers came to support the Uganda Skateboard Union. On 14^th /03/2021. Construction of the first Skull bowl in Uganda started & youth in Kitintale Communities includes Skaters of the Union participated in construction of skull bowl at Kitintale Skate park. The skull bowl was constructed in two months & on 12/06/2021 was the official opening of the Skull Bawl in Uganda! Skate Aid managements including Mr. Titus Dittmann (Skate-Aid founder/ Chairman Titus Dittmann Foundation & Social Entrepreneur) plus Maik Giersch (CEO Skate-Aid support) represented on the official opening in Kampala Uganda.

On 23 March 2021. The Union Up lifting youth Centre project was also started in the sometime. International Collaboration Society (ICS) together in partnership with the Uganda Skateboard Union, made it to the youth in the Communities of Kitintale where by youth will be creative to make their own art & craft designs, Computer training skills to youth in the Communities of Kitintale. This Up lifting Centre will help a lot to youth by keeping them busy 24 hours.

On 06^th /08/2021, the Ambassador of France in Uganda (H.E Jules-Armand ANIAMBOSSOU). Invited the managing director of the Uganda Skateboard Union (Mr. Mubiru Jackson) at the state house at Nakasero. The meeting of the two people went on well & to see how Skateboarding culture can be improved in Uganda. H.E Jules-Armand Aniamossou, he promised to support youth centers together with the government of Uganda & France government.

On 27^th/08/2021, H.E Jules-Armand ANIAMBOSSOU. He was interested visited The Uganda Skateboard Union project in Kitintale Skate Park Zone 12. Mayor Mugambe Paul of Nakawa Division Constituencies, Mr. Walusimbi Moses Councilor LC 3 Mutungo IV & Nadawula Godfrey Chairman L. C 1 Zone 12. Welcomed H.E in their happiness areas of the Communities in Kitintale zone 12.

Finally, The Uganda Skateboard Union together with Skate-Aid international, made it to Uganda to have a first Skull Bowl & is the deepest Skull Bowl in East Africa in depth & widely in sizes.

This skull Bowl project, it works 2 in 1 ( Skating inside & Swimming ) as you can see Union kids having joy in it. So, The Uganda Skateboard Management would like to advise Ugandans or other Countries to build Swimming pool and the sometime a skating place as you can see a massive happiness with the Union kids at Kitintale Skate Park.

This Skull Bowl is the first of its kind in Uganda, Why is it called a Skull Bowl? its because, it looks like a Human-Skull…and its a reason why is known as a Skull Bowl. very common in Europe, U.S.A and other Countries, but not too much in Africa.

On 23 March 2021. The Union Up Refitting youth Center project was also started in the sometime. International Collaboration Society (ICS) together in partnership with the Uganda Skateboard Union, made it to the youth in the Communities of Kitintale where by youth will be creative to make their own art & craft designs, Computer training skills to youth in the Communities of Kitintale.

. This Up Refitting Center will help a lot the youth by keeping them busy 24 hours at the Uganda Skateboard Union (Kitintale Skate Park).

The Up-Refitting Center will curry out its self by keeping up the youth in Kitintale Communities busy busy through learning different activities.

Showroom for our youth products, they have been made at the Uganda Skateboard Union during their free time at the skate park, will be displayed inside, and other activities will take place inside that project.

He is international graffiti artist from France and painted our new Skate-Aid Skull Bowl as you can see the beauty.

Our passion with Mr. Titus, is to see how to empower youth across boards in African skateboarding.

The Union together with the african-germany/ICS managed to come up with the Startup-lifting Centre at kitintale Community. Youth in these areas within the communities, to start up their Owen businesses through their talents. For examples; Tailoring lessons, Computer skills lessons, Graffiti Classes, Culture Traditional dance, Bamboo-Sculptures, beads work and finally Skateboarding at our head-quoters(@ugandaskateboardunion.org)

On 14 July 2021, CNN was interested & visited the Uganda Skateboard Union head office in Kampala at Kitintale Community. To witness about the Union project activates, which is curried out within the community of Kitintale in Kampala Uganda. Jackson Mubiru, one of the three Co-founders/ directors, explained a lot of experiences and challenges Jackson faced during 2005 and up to date.

USU x Embassy of France in Uganda. (The Uganda Skateboard Union is in partnership with the embassy of France in Uganda) Why the embassy was interested to support the USU in these situations, experience union is having since 2005 working had to promote Skateboarding in Uganda and the same time in East Africa. Union also got chance, whereby the next Olympics is happening in France Paris. The Union is now working had to promote skateboarding country-wide in Uganda together with Skate aid Uganda, by supportive from embassy of France in Uganda. (2024-Olympics in France-Paris) The embassy of France in Uganda, invited all their partners to attend the (Uganda-France Connect Party) on 09^th/12/2021 at the French Residence Nakasero. The government of France in Uganda, supported & gave a chance to educate/Training directors & Secretaries about project managements within different projects which are working with France embassy in Uganda. Jackson Mubiru & Cynthia Kemigisha from Uganda Skateboard Union attended that course of training at Alliance France offices in Kampala Uganda.

Since all the outbreak pandemic disease of COVID 19. The Union managed at least to keep kids & youth in our communities, by introducing to them things which can divert them away from bad criminal activities. We educate them in different kind of exercise and we gather them together for lesions of classes. Right now, we are looking forward for help of well-wishers, we need to have a library for those kids to have enough room for reading their books, and the same time, a volunteer’s room for staying in during the activities he/she will be doing at the union project.

On 26^th /11/2021. The House of Talent Television, Mr. Okila Eddie hosted Mr. Jackson Mubiru, who is one of the Co-Founders of the Uganda Skateboard Union. THE CEO BENCH program concerning with Leadership/Change Management & Transformation in the societies. Jackson inside the studios of this Tv Shows, was trying to let the world to know where the histories of Skateboarding started in California 1960^s, And Uganda got Skateboarding birthday in 2005. The Challenges Jackson have been facing since all along with skateboarding scene since 2005 and where we are right now, skateboarding is now in Olympics! 2024 in France-Paris.  

On 01^st/12/2021. World Aids Day in Uganda. The Uganda Skateboard Union, hosted the event of Celebrating the world Aids Day at Kitintale Skate Park.  A lot of companies & sponsors, supported these events to take place at the Union home ground at Kitintale Skate Park, a lot of activates took place at that moment & a lot of invited guests from health Centre projects in Uganda were invited on this occasion. Traditional cultural dance, Skateboarding, Breck dancing, Graffiti painting Etc. activities took place on that day of World Aids Day at Kitintale Skate Park(@ugandaskateboardunion.org).

A lot of visitors always come for the visit to see amazing skateboarding project in Uganda, and where the histories of skateboarding started in East Africa, at the Continent of Africa. Always our visitors come with donations to empower this NGO project. These depends on donations and well-wisher’s world-wild at large.

In this situation of COVID 19 since it started, Uganda Skateboard Union managed to achieve our missions as we listed them out before the epidemic disease happened. The Union managed to have a uplifting startup center together with International Collaboration Society (ICS) / africa-germany project in Uganda, the Union also managed to build a skull bowl together with Skate-Aid Uganda management, And the same time, the Union made it happen for the massive work is doing in the Communities of Kitintale in the Capital City Kampala to become in partnership with the Embassy of France in Uganda. And we are expecting more and more achievements in these coming years 2022 to 2024 in France-Paris. The management of the Uganda Skateboard Union, would like to thank and appreciates a lot to all people worldwide, who managed to support this project, and we are still looking forward for more support to Uganda Skateboard Union. On 9^th /05/2022 H.E Jules Armand ANIAMBOSSOU, Ambassador of France in Uganda, signed with the Uganda Skateboard Union Director Mr. Mubiru Jackson Agreement MOU Partnership and the guests (Beneficiaries and Federations) The launch of THE FSPI SPORT PROJECT This FSPI SPORT project is to supporting Uganda’s youth towards the 2024 Olympics games in France Paris. These was the time which we had been waiting to Perfect the Art of Skateboarding and Dancing in Uganda, The Uganda Skateboard Union and Uganda Dancing Federation had their preparations for the media appearance at the Paris 2024 Olympics boosted. This comes after we received a cash offer of 160,000 Euros (she 604 m) from the funding scheme of the French Ministry of Europe & Foreign Affairs. The Dancing Federation walk away with 100,000 Euros (sh 377m) for two years while the Uganda Skateboard Union will get 60,000 Euros (226 m). The boost comes in time before the 2024 Paris Olympics qualification pathways are yet to be released as noted by the Uganda Olympics Committee (UOC) President Donald Rukare.It is a timely boost for both skateboarding & dancing federations who are yet to know the qualification pathways for the coming Paris Olympics of 2024, Noted Rukare.

This was revealed during the official signing of the Partnership between the French ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs at the French Mission Nakasero, Kampala Uganda on Monday afternoon                  09^th/05/2022.

The Ambassador of France in Uganda, H.E Jules-Aniambossou, Slated the two years project in Uganda to promote the Olympic values of talent identification, promotions & skilling the technical people in the federations as noted by the ambassador of France in Uganda H.E Jules-Armand Aniambossou.

On 25^th /03/2022, The Ambassador of France H.E Jules Armand ANIMBOSSOU, Invited Jackson Mubiru the managing director/Founder of the Uganda Skateboard Union to attend a special day of International Day of Sports for Development and Peace / Terre de Jeux 2024-6^thApril 2022.

The embassy of France appreciated Mr. Mubiru Jackson for the good work is providing to Communities kitintale to help youth through using skateboarding to combat idleness and boredom among the youth of Uganda by providing a new, positive and fun outlet for them.  This outlet is skateboarding. The Uganda skateboard union Organization was to focus on teaching and training Ugandan youth how to skateboard.

On 02^nd/04/2022. The Young Women’s Alliance for Human Rights (YAH) Visited Uganda Skateboard Union to share skills & knowledge how Girls & Women in Kitintale Community they can be health and Clean through Menstruation hygiene. Elder’s classes of Women & Young girls were taught. The Uganda Skateboard Union appreciates a lot Ministry of Health to send their professional doctors to sensitize people in our kitintale slams in Nakawa division Kampala district.

THE NEW MINI-RAMP INTRODUCATION AT UNION ROPJECT.

Since Oscar Monty (Union Volunteer Teacher) and Hugo Moreno (Skate-aid Volunteer) met together in September 2021 at the Union head office at Kitintale, they decided to have a new Mini-Ramp together with director Mubiru Jackson with youth of Kitintale Community. Hugo, Oscar, Lucia and other friends shared the posters to the closest circles and they got money in less than 1 month time! The idea was becoming a reality. More than 1,000 Euros were raised and we thank to ten generous.

This mini-ramp, its enjoyable to all sizes either kids or elders, because it’s so fun when you’re skating it.  Union management took this opportunity to thank all our funders and all who participated into supporting these mini-ramp to be done!

THE FIRST COMMUNITY LIBRARY AT OFFICE OF THE UGANDA SKATEBOARD UNION.

On 09/05/2022. Action started at the Uganda Skateboard Union office to have a Local Ghetto Community library at Kitintale zone 12 Slam, Youth in our area slam to have access to read books and the same time skating in the community.

A team of skateboarders from Israel visited Uganda Skateboard Union at our Offices at Kitintale Skate park, They donated skateboards staff for the kids at Kitintale Community. The team was so appreciative to see the achievements made at historical place where skateboarding started in East Africa.

Finally, the dreams of three Men became realities in the all of Uganda/East Africa. between 2005,2007 to 2023 achievements of the Uganda Skateboard Union.

Teacher Oscar Friends, Families, Skate-Aid Uganda and other friends shared the posters to Build a Community Library.  The idea was becoming a reality and here are the visibilities of Kitintale Communities kids in our Library Classroom. Youth studding in our Library service, they get Computer basics skills, Story Telling, Writing and Reading skills and parents are so grateful for the services Union to give back to the Communities of Kitintale.  

On 30^th 09 2022 The Union Management team started thinking & planning how to promote skateboarding in Schools, Refugee settlement Camps and remote areas of Uganda regions! The out comes was to have (a Mobile Ramp) and it was a Union idea solution.

On 21^st-10-2022 Union started fabricating a portable Mimi-ramp which was funded by France Embassy (FSPI Project Uganda) and designed by Mr. Hugo Moreno who is a Skate-Aid Uganda Volunteer together with skateboarders of Union.

In Central part of Kampala Schools, The first School to go with a portable ramp was in ghetto class of Kamwokya areas known as Sister Miriam Duggan Primary School. The headteacher welcome us in the happiness of a new sport in their school as you can see the enjoyments of the students.

The Second School to go with a Portable ramp was Bishop Cypriano Kihangire Secondary School (BCK) at Luzira Old Port bell Road.

 Teachers, management & students welcomed Skateboarding in peace, enjoyment together with happiness at the school compound as you can witness the pictures. Remember, those are schools just here in Central (Kampala Only)

In Western part regions of Uganda, rout from Mityana, Mubende, Fort portal, to Kasese, Union expose Skateboarding in Schools along Mityana road like (Central Collage Mityana) Mubende and Fort portal schools.

Union management visited Muhokya Refugee Settlement (Lettle Elephant Camp Muhokya) too much problems faced by our brothers and sisters in that camp, Lack of food, Water, shelter, Clothes and education facilitates. however, the government is also working hard to help our brothers and sisters, we requests more organizations to come up also  to support government with anything to donate to our brothers and sisters in that Muhokya Refugee camp. The Union appreciate (Abayuuti Climate Action Network) for supporting Muhokya camp!!

The Uganda Skateboard Union managed to bring happiness, joy insides the hearts of the younger ones, through skateboarding as a sport! Kids never wanted Union management to leave their camp up to now!

The Whitaker Peace & Development

Initiative Kiryandongo Refugee Settlement in Northern Part of Uganda, welcomed Uganda Skateboard Union in happiness together with the youth in the Camp. The Management of Whitaker Peace & Development

Initiative Kiryandongo Comp appreciated the hospitalities Union had to show love to the youth of Northern region.

Mother Angioletta Primary School a long Custom Corner in Gulu town welcomed Skateboarding team from Kampala, to showcase the students in that school of Sisters.

Students and the School management / Teachers practiced Skateboarding, and they had fun with their students during skateboarding showcase. Music and Dancing where also part of the workshop on that day.

Sisters of the school/ Director and the headmaster of the school appreciated a lot the management of the Union to provide skateboarding in their schools in Gulu regions.

We painted it to stop rusting of the pipes against weather like rain and sun. we started Appling plywood on it.

Union trains also Culture lessons like drummer and dancing training and the same time art-and sculpture training skills at Kitintale Skate park.
